Theresa Wike '05 recently became engaged to fiance, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Alum, Chris Black '05 on August 13, 2008. Additionally, the couple will be participating in their first ever Christie Clinic half maration in Champaign, IL and will be working with Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Chris will be a participant in the race and Theresa will be mentoring 20 runners from the Central Illinois area. She plans on including a lyre on her jersey. Way to PACE Theresa!
Casey Turnipseed '05 is currently working for the Illinois Valley YMCA as the Health and Wellness Director. Casey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2005 from Millikin. In addition to her professional achievements, Casey has been particpating in bodybuilding competitions and was recently named the Women's Lightweight Bodybuilding Division 3rd place winner in 2008. Her athleticism led her to participate in the Chicago Marathon in 2005, 2006, 2007 and has been a medal recipient each year. Leisurely, Casey participates in competitions with her Quarter Horse Mare named Snazzy and her Paint Horse Gelding named Wyatt. Casey was named the 2008 Novice-Amateur Division Champion for the state of Illinois in the Illinois Paint Horse Association. Congrats Casey!

Celene (McDonald) Watkins' newest additiona, Elise Nicole, was born on October 10, 2008 and joining big brother Luke, 6, and sister Maria, 4. Celene currently lives in Grand Rapids, MI with her family.
Phyllis (Day) Silverio '00 gave birth to a baby girl on June 2, 2008! Mia Therse was 8lbs 2oz and 21 inches long! Congrats Phyllis!
Leslie (Johnson) Krall '08 married Bill Krall on June 14, 2008. Leslie and Bill welcomed an addition to their family, when their daughter Mackenzie Kathryn Krall was born on October 8, 2008. Congrats Leslie!

Jaime Koch Carpenter '00 welcomed a little bundle of joy recently! Isaiah Edward was born on December 20, 2007, weighing 7 lbs, 15 oz. and was 20 in. long. Big brother Jacob, 4, and big sister Clara, 3, joined the family in welcoming baby Isaiah home! Congrats Jaime!

Sydney McRae '88 competed in the Lakeside Triathlon in Decatur on July 1st. She finished all three events in less than two hours and placed in the top half of the list of competitors.

Sarah Popkin '05 is currently the Sales Coordinator at Key Art Publishing Corporation.
Katie Avery '06 spent her summer in Seattle, WA completing research at the University of Washington. Her focus was on immunology of tuberculosis and working with pediatric infectious disease physicians at Seattle's Childrens Hospital and Regional Medical Center. She is currently living in Springfield, IL and is in her second year of medical school.
Becky Kawa Seal '93 currently resides in Gurnee, IL and is teaching 2nd grade. She is married to Scott and has three children! Becky is the proud mother of Conor, 5, Nate, 2 and Ella, 8 months.
